Article 7

Sec. 7.1. (Reg. 29.030). All petitions for membership or degrees must be made in writing, signed in person by the petitioner with his name written in full, and signed by at least two (2) members of King Lodge as his referrers. Every petitioner must complete a third-party Criminal Background Check facilitated through the Grand Lodge.

A petitioner for the degrees must also fill out the petitioner's questionnaire and submit the same with his petition, which questionnaire must be read to the Lodge by the Secretary with the petition.

The Lodge may present such petitions at a called or stated meeting, refer them to a committee for investigation, and lay them over for at least three (3) weeks until a stated meeting.
