Resolution to Issue Keys and Security Codes to the Hall

Whereas access is required to the hall to meet;

Whereas the Worshipful Master or one of the Wardens is required to convene a meeting; and

Whereas the Worshipful Master, Wardens, Treasurer, and Secretary are each elected by the Lodge to serve it; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M.:

1. issue the Worshipful Master, Wardens, Treasurer, and Secretary a key to the Hall; and

2. provide each with a working security code to operate the alarm system.

Resolution to Designate Authorized Users for all Lodge Financial Accounts

Whereas all financial accounts of the Lodge must have a minimum of three Brothers authorized as users;

Whereas it is the responsibility of the Treasurer to receive monies and pay them out when properly directed; and

Whereas the Worshipful Master and the Senior Warden are the top two officers of the Lodge; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M.:

1. designate the Treasurer, Worshipful Master, and Senior Warden as authorized users on all financial accounts of the Lodge; and

2. authorize them as such after their installation each year as soon as practical.

Resolution to Establish use of an Abbreviated Form of the Lodge Name

Whereas the full name of King Masonic Lodge No. 774 is awkwardly long when spoken in ritual;

Whereas it is the only Lodge name that includes Masonic in it to date; and

Whereas King Lodge No. 774 matches the naming convention of all previous Lodges in Indiana; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M.:

1. use King Lodge No. 774 where the Lodge name is used in the official ritual.

Resolution to Sponsor the Members of King Lodge Desiring to Enroll in the Ritualist Program

Whereas one of the founding purposes of King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M. was to facilitate and encourage the learning of the ritual work of our craft;

Whereas there exists a Ritualist Program set up by the Grand Lodge of Indiana F. & A. M. with the same purpose; and

Whereas using said program will aid this Lodge is achieving her goals; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M.:

1. submit the form to the Grand Lodge for the Ritualist Program; and

2. pay the cost on behalf of any member of this Lodge so desiring it

Resolution to Reimburse Expenses Incurred While Attending the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge

Whereas all Lodges are to be represented at the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge; and

Whereas this duty falls on the Worshipful Master or his proxy; and

Whereas said representative will incur expenses such as but not limited to travel, room, and board; and

Whereas said representative incurs said expenses while conducting the business of the Lodge, be it

Resolved, that King Masonic Lodge No. 774 F. & A. M.:

1. advance a stipend of $250 to the official representative to cover said expenses at the first stated meeting in May; and

2. reimburse expenses incurred exceeding $250 when deemed reasonable and necessary by its members.
